Michael Coonrod’s Big Sky View Railroad

Michael’s pronto-freelance Big Sky View Railroad depicts Missoula, Montana in the 1960 with Montana Rail Link (MRL) power and plenty of custom buildings recreated from Michael’s younger days.

Bill Horning’s Rio Grande Midland Railroad

My Rio Grande Midland Railroad is loosely based on the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad, the Colorado Midland Railway, and other Colorado railroads.  The modeled route is between Pueblo and Grand Junction, Colorado including the Royal Gorge and Tennessee Pass. The Rio Grande Midland’s mainline is a part of the Denver to Salt Lake City route.

Ernie Barry’s East Raton and Santa Fe

The layout represents the Santa Fe mainline over Raton Pass, located in northeastern New Mexico, in 1952. It is HO scale. The configuration is a walk-in, walk around folded dog bone with a center peninsula. It has a DCC operating system, all sound equipped engines, fully signaled and dispatched. The scenery is 100% complete and the backdrop is hand painted from prototype photos.
