Website Update
Paul Anderson (Assistant Superintendent & Webmaster) discussed purchasing a Search WP Plug-In to aid is searching PDF and Word Files on our Website. Cost per year for the license is $99.00 per year. After much discussion all have approved this purchase. The monthly meeting (earlier today) was Video recorded. Paul will edit and post. A YouTube channel will be secured. Mike Cipko found some old Newsletters. Paul to scan and load to our website. (Any scanned documents will not be searchable).
Membership Update
Keith Aleo liked the Certificate of Appreciation Sample provided by Pete Magoun. Will pursue further. Al Johnson will see if one of our members changed his E-mail address. (G. Croftchik). Survey Monkey is no longer used by the NMRA. Will come up with our own 10 questions to submit to our members; those questions are TBD.
Yardmaster Clinic Updates
T.J. Stratton was absent, but notes were sent in. Clinics secured to date:
- Oct. Resin Car Build by T.J. Stratton.
- Nov. Rich Mahaney – Five Busy Places on your Railroad.
- Dec. Terminal in Toledo RR by Doug Tagsold.
- Jan. Jim Gore – Paper Models. (Must Verify availability).
- Feb. Mike Hauk – Static Grass.
- Mar. Craig Wilson – Ann Arbor Cabooses.
- April or May. Michael McDougal (Northern Yardmaster) will try to secure a clinic in Gaylord. Will contact Dave Capron.
- April or May. Pete Magoun – AP Detailed Discussion.
- Other Possibilities – The Quincy & Torch Lake RR in the UP. (David Z. to pursue with his contact to see if this could be a clinic or a Newsletter Article.
Financial Update
Discussion with David Zolnierek and Paul Anderson about using PayPal. Idea shelved for now. We only wrote 3-4 checks in the last several years. David has secured a debit card from the credit union.
Open House(?)
A Spring 2026 open house was discussed. Further discussion is needed. Need a list of potential Railroads. Jens to discuss with RR owners.

Next board meeting to be on Dec. 20 directly following the Division Meeting.
